In the late 1980's ground was broken for the first phase of Glenshire and building was completed in multiple phases throughout the early 1990's. The current Civic Association officially integrated all phases into Glenshire circa in 1990. The subdivision is required to have a civic association, which body is also a property owner. The Glenshire Civic Association became the major owner late in 1995. It is the responsibility of the civic association and all the homeowners in Glenshire to Maintain over 16 acres of common areas, including three entrance ways and a mile of walking trails lining our beautiful creek and green spaces.
Glenshire continues to be a unique development, offering large lots, rolling hills with mature trees, impeccably maintained homes and a natural environment capturing its prosperous farm heritage. Glenshire is a wonderful blend of urbanized living in a rural setting, yet it is within walking distance of elementary and middle schools as well as in close proximity to sports facilities, swimming pools and daily shopping.
Each Glenshire homeowner is automatically a member(s) of the civic association and responsible for civic association dues. In addition, the civic association is responsible for enforcing deed restrictions. All exterior home improvements such as additions to existing structures, fences, decks or other proposed construction must receive the approval of the Architectural Review Committee prior to initiating construction.
